Students who graduated from faculty of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry of Somali National University opened Veterinary medicine and Surgery Hospital in Guriel district of Galgudud region.
The opening of this hospital came at a time when there was a great need for skilled and knowledgeable academics related to the treatment of animals and their care. since this area is one of the areas with the most livestock farming, the event was addressed by Dr. Shafici Abdi Elmi and also Dr. Mohamed Abdirashid Nur.
